Egyptian Rice

500 g beef mince
1 small onion, chopped
2 C beef stock
2 – 3 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 C mushrooms, sliced
1 C rice
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown mince and onion. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer until rice is done. To serve, put on top a dollop of yogurt or sour cream and sprinkle with toasted slivered almonds.
